Start here: what do you actually know?
Which tool is useful to you depends almost entirely on one question — do you know your time of birth?
If you know date, time and place, everything on the site works. The ascendant moves about one degree every four minutes, so the time is what makes house-based analysis possible.
If you only know the date, you can still do a great deal. Your Moon sign is usually settled by the date alone, since the Moon stays in a sign for over two days. All numerology works from the date. Daily panchang and timing work from today, not your birth.
If you know nothing but a name, name numerology and the naam-akshar rashi method are available — with the caveats in the rashi-by-name guide.

Birth chart and core analysis
Free Kundli — the main tool. Matching by name — a fallback for when birth details genuinely are not available. It is a fallback, not an equivalent, and the guide says so plainly.

How to read anything this site tells you
Four principles run through every tool and every guide here.
The working is shown. Where a calculation is contested — and many are — we say which convention we use and what the alternatives are. Ayanamsa, house system, Chaldean or Pythagorean, whether master numbers are preserved: these choices change results, and a tool that hides them is hiding half the method.
Common conditions are not personal afflictions. A combust Mercury occurs in roughly a third of charts. Sade sati affects a quarter of the population at any time. Manglik dosha covers six houses out of twelve before cancellations. Where something is common, we say so, because the fear around these terms is mostly manufactured by people selling remedies.
Cancellations are applied. Classical texts define conditions under which doshas do not hold. Most free calculators print the dosha and stop. That is where unnecessary distress comes from, and we do not do it.
No fatalism. Nothing in a chart determines an outcome. The guides say this repeatedly because it is true and because the alternative framing does real harm — broken engagements, delayed treatment, money spent on fear.

Astrology and numerology here are frameworks for reflection and planning. They are traditional interpretive systems, not tested ones, and no controlled evidence supports their predictive claims.
