• Nakshatra: the Moon in one of these 11 — Mrigashira, Punarvasu, Ashlesha, Magha, Purva Phalguni, Vishakha, Anuradha, Mula, Purva Ashadha, Purva Bhadrapada and Revati.
• Tithi: Pratipada, Panchami, Shashti, Dashami, Ekadashi of either fortnight, and Purnima and Amavasya. Never Dwitiya, Tritiya, Chaturthi, Saptami, Ashtami, Navami, Dwadashi, Trayodashi or Chaturdashi.
• Season: none. The reference list closes no month, Kharmas or Chaturmas and does not apply Guru or Shukra asta; only an adhika month is closed. There is no adhika month in 2027.
