- The calculator reads the Moon's sidereal (Lahiri) position on your birth date. The Moon crosses a sign in about two and a quarter days, so most dates hold one moon sign all day; when yours held two, the result shows both, with the birth times each one covers.
- Your birth place only sets the clock your date and time are read in. Without one, India time is used, and the result says so.
- Every window is a real Saturn ingress, computed from Swiss Ephemeris, and retrograde re-entries are kept as their own windows, not smoothed away. Dates are shown in Indian Standard Time.
- Shani Dhaiya is Saturn in the fourth sign from the Moon (Kantak Shani) or the eighth (Ashtam Shani), about two and a half years each.
